Reproductive Medicine

Healthy, happy, expecting

What does oral healthcare have to do with fertility?

Everything you never imagined.
An infection and inflammation-free mouth can be the gateway to optimal health and a healthy conception.

The joys of parenthood

Whether you’re a first-time parent or have decided to expand your family, there’s joy in expecting and in knowing what to expect. What no one expects is infertility. Struggling to conceive can be an extremely stressful phase – how can something so natural, so biological, take so long and be so hard? We hear you.

Our team is comprised of many parents – motherhood, fatherhood, parenthood is such a noble mission, one that we cherish deeply. Our Reproductive Medicine department was born precisely from the joys of parenthood and the medical expertise to help those who are experiencing difficulties in conceiving.

At White Clinic we don’t focus on what’s not working, we focus on why it might not be working and on what we can do to make your dream come true. Naturally and biologically. Just like it should be.

The challenges of (in)fertility

1 in 6 people of reproductive age worldwide are affected by infertility in their lifetime.

Infertility is described as a “disease of the male or female reproductive system, defined by the failure to achieve a pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse”. It is also so much more complex than that – it is physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially exhausting.

Infertility can be caused by male, female, or unexplained factors. It’s also important to consider lifestyle factors such as smoking, alcohol consumption, poor diet, obesity, and sedentarism.

From a scientific point of view, male infertility is commonly caused by problems in the ejection of semen, the absence or low levels of sperm, the abnormal shape and movement of the sperm.

Female infertility may be caused by a range of irregularities affecting the ovaries, uterus, fallopian tubes, and the endocrine system, among others.

Primary infertility means a pregnancy has never been reached, and secondary infertility means at least one prior pregnancy has been achieved.

A healthy conception starts from the inside out.
And we believe it starts with a healthy mouth.

If you’re currently trying to conceive and are seeking an integrative approach to your infertility issues, our experienced Reproductive Medicine team is ready to meet you, listen to your story, study your case and create a personalised treatment plan that is aligned with fertility wellness.

What to expect from our Reproductive Medicine Appointment

STEP 1

A complete oral check-up

Our Reproductive Medicine appointment begins with a comprehensive biological dentistry check-up, which includes a state-of-the-art Cone Beam Computed Tomography scan (CBCT). This advanced technology provides our team with a precise 3D look into your mouth. Why do we need this? It’s the only way to verify if you have any chronic inflammation or infection or even prejudicial old dental treatments – this type of pathogens and toxicity deeply affect the rest of the body, compromising systemic health and hindering the body’s natural capacity to conceive.

STEP 2

Non-invasive advanced testing

The in-depth study of your current health status continues with cutting-edge blood and urine tests. We work with the most advanced labs in the world for specific diagnostics regarding issues that may be impeding fertility such as inflammation in the body – a crucial step in preparing personalised treatment plans for reproductive wellness.

RGCC Cancer Test
Detects circulating tumour cells in the blood or lymph.

Trace Minerals Test
Measures levels of trace minerals, which are essential to overall health.

RANTES Test
Shows the existence of inflammation and/or infection in the body.

Melisa Test
Detects hypersensitivity to metals, chemicals, environmental toxins and moulds.

DNA Test
Identifies mutations in genes, chromosomes or proteins.

Dutch Test
Measures hormone levels, adrenal dysregulation, nutrient levels and detox processes.

Metabolomix Test
A comprehensive nutritional assessment of organic, amino and fatty acids; as well as toxic heavy metal levels.

Other blood tests
Each case is unique, which means additional blood work may be necessary.

STEP 3

Custom-designed treatment protocols

With the results of your dental health check-up, CBCT scan and additional tests, we prepare a custom protocol that is tailored to your current health status and goals, considering all the issues that may be triggering obstacles for a healthy conception. Our jawbone detox treatments are designed to eliminate chronic inflammation or infection, and are wholly supported by our advanced healing therapies and regenerative technologies – ozone therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, intravenous light therapy, photobiomodulation, chromotherapy, Bio-Electro-Magnetic-Energy-Regulation therapy, supplementation, immune boosting therapies, among others.

Our protocols are always aligned with your current treatment plan – fertility is multifaceted and we believe it must be looked at from various perspectives. We also believe we can help you prepare your body for the journey of a lifetime.

Reproductive wellness

We’ve known for a long time now that teeth are directly connected with systemic health – this means that whatever the health issue, it’s fundamental that the mouth always be fully screened as part of diagnostics and treatment planning. It’s also crucial that doctors from all fields work together to achieve the oral-general health balance their patients need and deserve.

With a unique vision of what it means to be healthy today, and equipped with the knowledge, tools and resources necessary to help patients obtain a health-centered lifestyle, White Clinic expertly combines Biological Dentistry and Reproductive Medicine, because great oral health stimulates great general health and great general health promotes strong fertility levels.

As a patient-centered clinic, all protocols are non-invasive, pain-free, and stress-free, actively supporting your reproductive journey.

Preparing for new life means a healthy start.

A holistic and functional approach to fertility and conception that starts with the mouth.
